Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Add Ons

Dog Walking Rates

  • Before Hours Dog Walking (Before 7:00 AM): Additional $5 per walk.

  • After Hours Dog Walking (After 7:30 PM): Additional $5 per walk.

Holiday Rates

  • Holiday Rate: $20 per day, per client.

    • Independent Contractors (ICs) will receive an additional $20 per client on applicable holidays.

    • If multiple services are performed by more than one IC at the same client’s home on a holiday, the $20 holiday pay is evenly divided among the ICs.

      • Example: If two ICs perform services on Christmas Day for a single client with two 30-minute drop-in visits, each IC receives $10 in holiday pay.

Recognized Holidays:

  • Labor Day

  • Memorial Day

  • Fourth of July

  • Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve

  • Christmas Day

  • New Year’s Eve

  • New Year’s Day

Cancellation Fees

Dog Walking

  • Last-Minute Cancellations (Non-Weather Related):

    • If the client cancels within 24 hours of the scheduled service or while the IC is enroute, the IC will receive a flat rate payment of $11.50.

    • Clients are not charged cancellation fees for cancellations due to severe weather that could put the IC or pets at risk.

  • 48-Hour Cancellations:

    • If the client cancels within 48 hours of the service date, the IC will receive a flat rate payment of $7.00.

Pet Sitting

  • Last-Minute Cancellations:

    • If the client cancels within 24 hours of the service date, while the IC is enroute, or during the service, the IC will receive 30% compensation of the fees collected by PetPals, LLC, due to loss of work.

  • 72-Hour Cancellations:

    • If the client cancels within 72 hours of the service date, the IC will receive 15% compensation of the fees collected by PetPals, LLC, due to loss of work.
