PetPals is an administrative company that connects clients in Portland OR seeking professional pet care services, with vetted, certified, licensed independent contractors. We provide our community with a unique network of individuals we trust with our pets.

❋ Field Leadership Models

Administrative leadership provides coordination, guidance, and clarity across scheduling, communication, and care alignment. This support ensures services remain organized and responsive without interfering with professional judgment in the field. Our field leaders, who are senior pals with outstanding merit, may be called in for support if / when unexpected situations arise.

❋ Collaborative Teams

Care is supported by a network of experienced, independent professionals who operate within shared standards. This collaborative approach strengthens continuity, coverage, and communication—ensuring your pet is cared for within a stable, trusted system. Most clients will have 2 Pals or more, depending on extend of long term needs.

We wouldn’t welcome a stranger into our home, and neither should you. We want to create a collaborative and safe environment for all persons pets and surrounding community. We are here to support our clients through whatever life has to throw at them.

Establishing Care & Onboarding as a Client

Meet & Greet

To begin booking care, clients must apply with their initial booking details, booking habits, and availability to meet the team. We will pair you with a Pal depending on your availability, schedule, and needs, as well as their ability.

We will reach out to you over time to introduce you to new Pals when your current teams availability changes for whatever reason.

Activating Your Account

Once care introductions are established, you’ll receive an activation code to access your account in Time to Pet. Completing your pet and home care profiles in full allows us to deliver seamless, personalized care and respond effectively if urgent support is ever needed.

Time to Pet serves as our centralized platform for scheduling, secure messaging, visit updates, and billing. The client app is available for convenient, on-the-go access and ongoing communication throughout your care experience.

    • Saturday & Sunday: OFF

  • I can answer questions about Pals, services, daily care needs, sharing community resources, and all other field-related matters. I love connecting with people and growing our community, and am happy to answer any questions you may have!

    Hi! The business phone is typically left at home, but i always have my cell on me. Please give a text if you would like to schedule a phone call and i’ll get back to you!

  • PetPals services are structured to allow for personalized care within defined boundaries.

    • Services are scheduled within arrival windows rather than exact times

    • Care types (boarding, overnight, continuous care) reflect different supervision levels

    • Customization is available when it fits safely within the service structure

    • Not every request is a good fit—and that’s intentional.

    This model allows us to maintain consistency, safety, and high standards across all services.

  • Pals reserve the right to:

    • Decline or modify services when needs exceed scope

    • Escalate concerns when safety or welfare is at risk
