Skye
Pronouns: She/Her
Growing up, I was surrounded by animals of all kinds (from hamsters to reptiles, cats, and lots of dogs) which fostered a deep love and interest in animal care. I volunteered for horse centers and local humane societies, and grew more interested in working with traumatized animals/those with special needs. I'd love to develop this training to one day help children and animals coming from difficult backgrounds find solace in each other.
More recently, I've become very interested in goat-herding as a form of ecological repair and wildland fire mitigation--I hope to one day tend a herd of goats and shepherd them. I bring an earnest love for animals to every client, as well as attention to detail and thorough work ethic. Building trust with each unique individual is something I consider in the highest regard. With years of experience training and tending dogs, I look forward to continuing my growth in specific training protocols and assistance methods.

What music are you listening to right now? : It's all over the place, but I've been loving a lot of orchestral movements/symphonic suites. Also diggin' a lot of Mazzy Star, Beach House, and Widowspeak--it's autumn in the PNW, after all.
What's your favorite weather to walk in? : I really love each season as they come, but I'd have to say a windy or misty autumn day--nothing beats that smell and the crisp air.
